Ministry of Finance Building

Ministry of Finance is located at Jalan Lapangan Banteng Timur, Central Jakarta. It was part of the palace building by The Dutch Governor General Daendles in 1890. It was facing the parade square of Waterlooplein (now Lapangan Banteng). The main building was designed for the residence of the Governor General and the wings were use for lodging, for the guest of Dutch Government official. In 1828 the building was used a Post Office and government owned printing office. The other part was used by the Hoogerechter (High magistrate) and Algemene building the financial policy of the country has been processes.
